Women's Day Boudoir Giveaway
I chose this image as the winner in large part because of the perfect pose and evocative expression from the model. I really grabs the viewer and has them thinking about what is going through her mind at that time. The lighting is spot on and the post production is polished but remains natural. The little details such as the positioning of the hair down to the way the models hand interacts with the lingerie just puts it over the top. - Michael Woloszynowicz
This image really embodies what a great lingerie shot should be. The model is beautiful with a captivating gaze and is posed perfectly to accent the lingerie and her body. Despite the fact that it's a lingerie shot, it remains elegant and tastefully done and the use of negative space through the landscape orientation keeps the image engaged with the subject and scene. - Michael Woloszynowicz
Not all lingerie images need to rely on sex appeal to work well. The playful nature of this image is a great departure from the norm and really captures a wonderful moment that doesn't feel the least bit posed. The sunrise/sunset window light and warm tones really accentuate that carefree feeling and the model has a wonderful girl-next-door sort of appeal to her. - Michael Woloszynowicz

Sophia Adams is a 21-year-old police trainee, but now she can add “plus-size model” to her resume. The London native was just voted the winner of the Curvy Kate Star in a Bra contest. She’ll be the face of the brand’s spring/summer 2016 catalogue.
Adams was one of 10 finalists for the online competition, which kicked off with a body-positive version of a controversial Victoria’s Secret ad that claimed to celebrate a diverse range of women’s bodies. Now the model, who wears a 32JJ bra, will represent the Curvy Kate customer, who is a D-cup or higher.

This summer, Adams will be flying to Faro, Portugal, to take part in the Curvy Kate campaign and shoot images to be used in brochures, catalogues, promotions and advertising.
“The theme will be curve-loving – body-celebrating – as our line-up of models is diverse we aim to show all shapes and sizes so that all our customers have someone to look to for their lingerie buying needs, ” a spokesperson told the Daily Dot via email.

, a resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, heard of the online photo contest through his girlfriend. Aware of his feminine features, they decided to take a few photos of Andrey wearing some sexy women’s lingerie and enter them into the contest, just for fun. Andrey’s girlfriend, whose name has not been made public, fixed his hair and did his makeup before asking a talented photographer to snap some rather professional-looking photos of him and submitting them to the contest organizer online. They expected to get a good laugh out of the whole thing, but what they didn’t expect was for Andrey to be declared the winner.

The winner of their photo contest, and awarded him the title of “Miss Avocado”. But that was before they contacted him to schedule a professional photo shoot and learned that he was actually a man. Afraid of how the public – particularly their customers – would react to a man being celebrated for wearing women’s lingerie, they decided to disqualify him and hand the title over to the first runner up.
“The boy looks very similar to a girl, and since anyone could enter our contest, he chose to participate as well.
